Welcome to Maun. Upon landing at the international airport, you’ll be met by our team and treated to light refreshments before embarking on a scenic road transfer to Losika Elephant Camp.
Your journey begins immediately, passing through vibrant Maun and the village of Shorobe – known for its artisan weaving – before turning into the bush. This is more than a transfer – it’s your first game-viewing experience.
Arrive at Losika and settle into your elegant en-suite tent. The thatched guest area offers a comfortable setting to unwind: bar, lounge, dining area, plunge pool, and the boma overlooking the pan await you.
This afternoon: relax, refresh, and enjoy high tea followed by a gentle sundowner drive. Welcome to the Okavango.
Start with coffee or tea brought to your tent. After a light morning snack, head out on an early game drive in the NG35 concession, returning for a late breakfast.
Midday is yours to enjoy: read on your veranda, take a dip, or watch wildlife wander past camp. After high tea, venture out again for a late afternoon and early evening game drive. Sundowners at a scenic spot bring the day to a golden close.
After dinner, enjoy stories by the fire or stargazing beneath the vast African sky. Optional night drives may reveal bush babies, porcupines, or the elusive aardwolf.
Your final morning offers one last game drive or a peaceful mokoro excursion (season-dependent). After breakfast, we’ll transfer you back to Maun – with unforgettable memories in tow.
